This is such a wonderfully huge Izway wine in all the right ways. Visually, impenatrably black in hue. On the tongue, the breadth and power of the wine is the first thing that strikes you – the spicy, spicy, summer spicy fruit effortly carries the layers of rich oak as the wine seamlessly glides along the palate. Dashes of pepper and liquorice along the way with subtle vanilla bean at the edges of the frame. In all, a big glowing sun of a wine, made so special by its integration – no protrusions – just smooth deliciousness. We love it. This is just about as good as Barossa/Eden Valley gets.
