We recently hosted a vertical tasting of three vintages of Seville Hill‘s incredible Shiraz. What fun and deliciousness we had! If you haven’t acquainted yourself with this gem of the Yarra Valley, get to it!
* Seville Hill 2012 No 8 Shiraz – Absolutely glows alive on the palate casting sparks of raspberry, vanilla, and bright floral notes. It’s like drinking a Spring-flowered meadow…
* Seville Hill 2013 Reserve Shiraz – The most direct of the three, this is a very polished Shiraz, evoking black raspberry and cola flavours. Would fit right in at a fancy restaurant.
* Seville Hill 2014 Reserve Shiraz – The biggest of the three (in traditional terms) this is a powerful and assertive Shiraz, yet bright all the same – dark fruits but finishes with trademark Yarra olive and spice notes.
