A surprisingly delicious and altogether captivating wine that captures that rare-as-hens’-teeth dialectic of satisfying plumpness and bewitching complexity. (Gewurztraminer, Pinot Blanc, Riesling & Pinot Gris – who would have guessed?!?) Honeysuckle, soft citrus, & minerality entice on the softer side but are well balanced by more contemplative pine, nettles and musk notes – they are all here, but the key is how seamlessly woven together they are to yield such a polished and plump drop that is, in a word, delicious! Easily the most interesting and satisfying white wine we’ve tried from the King Valley in quite awhile. A lingering flavour experience to savour (if you can stop yourself from drinking it too quickly!)
