A true godfather of the region, Vasse Felix was in fact the first winery built in the Margaret River region.  A mid- to large-size winery (depending on who your ask), Vasse Felix stands head and shoulders above its similarly sized peers in its relentless commitment to quality, and does it ever pay off in the bottle!  The result is a focused range of wines (only 5 or 6 varietals all in) offered at incredible prices that taste frankly exceptional.  At under $30 each, their Filius Cab Sav and Classic Dry Red (Shiraz) are extraordinary.  Their sparkling wine, when it is not sold out, is also incredible.

Vasse Felix has one of the more grandiose cellar doors in Margaret River.  A true can’t miss.  The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and as of this writing. Vasse Felix offers the best lunch we have found yet in WA.
