Situated between Perth to the North and the Margaret River to the South, Geographe is a geographically diverse and beautiful region of Western Australia.  The region itself is quite large, but its wine production quite small (and no small surprise; it was not officially designated as a wine region until 1999).  Still, it is a rapidly emerging region with more small wineries trying new varietals and techniques springing up every year.  The Geographe may lie under Margaret River’s daunting shadow today, but it is one to watch.
