Sutherland Estate is a quirky winery.  Perched like a lone eagle atop a steep hill, the views from the breathtaking cellar door are unmatched.  The place always feels pleasantly uncommercial considering its unique spot.  More often than not, you’ll be able to enjoy a leisurely tasting with full attention.  Totally a family affair with father (Ron, a pretty cool dude) having designed and built the cathedral-like cellar door and daughter Cathy serving as co-winemaker.

Sutherland has the ability to produce some staggering wines.  We have been particularly fetched with their Shiraz and sparkling Tempranillo.  Best of all, the prices are better than reasonable for the superb quality.
