De Bortoli is perhaps our favourite large winery in Australia (here we refer specifically to the range found at the cellar door and not to the cheapest range at Dan Murphy’s).  We absolutely love calling into their Yarra Valley outpost.  Here you will regularly find an array of amazing wines for under $30 and truly epic wines under $50.   De Bortoli with their 2014 Estate Grown Shiraz produced perhaps the best Yarra Shiraz we’ve had the pleasure to drink.  The Pinot Gris, Roses, and Pinot Noirs are routinely delightful.  And then their is the dessert wines.  Outside of Rutherglen, probably the best fortifieds in Australia, and they’ve rightfully brought home boat loads of awards.

De Bortoli has a charming cellar door and we’ve never had less than impeccable service.  Ask for Mandy.  She belongs in the wine service hall of fame.  You won’t go wrong here.
