Port Phillip may well be Mornington’s most (tastefully) stunning cellar door.  The sheer building, with its sharp angles and endless stairwell; the outsized symmetry of the windows looking, as if over a cliff down onto the vineyards … it’s just such an enchanting place to spend an afternoon.  And Port Phillip is a reliable wine producer of the region – perhaps most notable for the consistency of goodness across their semi-broad range.  A must visit in any tour of Mornington.
