Run by a lovely couple (Andy & Sandy), Idavue Estate is very much a friendly AUS affair.  But don’t let the warmth and good vibes lead you to believe the place isn’t serious about wine.  In certain years (such as 2012), Idavue produces staggering Shiraz of great power and breadth.  We also rate their 2016 and 2017 vintages as well as their premium Blue Note Shiraz.  In all, a “can’t miss” stop just north of Heathcote township.
