Marcus Hill Vineyard is the kind of place that can make for an entire day of wine exploration all in one stop. The wines here are phenomenal (and their awesome Franc, Merlot, Malbec blend proves the Bellarine can do a lot more than Pinot and Chardonnay). The place is as homey as it could be, with sheep outside in the vineyard (and occasionally inside!) and friendly wine dogs looking for a pet. And of course the people. Margo is sunshine in a bottle, and Richard is one of those “characters” of wine that will make for a colourful and insightful tasting.  A wonderful stop all around.
