Jansz has long  been Australia’s premier affordable sparkling house. And we hesitate to use the adjective “affordable” for fear it might detract from the fact that the stature of Jansz’s wines can go toe-to-toe with any AUS of French producer.  Literally, these wines are as good as most Champagnes, just at 25% the cost…  Their pitch-perfect Premium Cuvee is the best bang-for-buck that can be found in sparkling wines, here or anywhere.  On the other side of the spectrum, their (cellar door only) Potos Hills 2018 Cuvee is a stylistic masterpiece – a striking, almost tempestuous sparkling that evokes the nearby waves of the sea – we’d back it against the best Champagnes.  We salute Jansz for making great sparkling so readily available to honest folk and also for their commitment to excellent cellar door staff.
