Goaty Hill boasts one of if not the most well-rounded suite of wines in the region.  That is a big statement.  The wines are just so good – perhaps my favourite overall Tamar tasting on the wines alone. In such a haughty era of “wine culture”, we can more than appreciate Goaty Hill’s willingness to contract out their winemaking to an expert winemaker – the results are magnificent. For now these guys are content to be guardians of the fruit and terroir, and that works for us.

Goaty will tell you that Riesling is their signature wine, and while their Riesling is sublime, the delicately nuanced Pinot Gris also reaches stratospheric heights.
