Founded by the lovable Brad Hicks only back in 2010, Brash Higgins has quickly put itself at the forefront of the formidable McLaren Vale wine scene.  Produced by a variety of interesting and/or pioneering techniques, such as co-fermentation of same-day harvested fruit, BH boasts a range of interesting takes on blends (we absolutely loved their dusty blackberry 2016 Grenache Mataro) and classics (the 2015 MRLO was one of the better AUS Merlots we’ve tried).  Unlikely you’ll go wrong with a Brash Higgins wine.  And a perfect example of one ole Halliday’s squad got wrong (probably they didn’t send everyone enough free cases of wine lol).
