Summary:

Battle of Bosworth and Spring Seed Wines – A quaint cellar door, great staff (Jane is so adorable), a long tasting list, and huge rewards for the patient… The wines start light, but as the range matures into depth, the wines are spectacular. Bosworth’s 24-year commitment to organic and the dedication it implies shines right through in their wines. We loved the 2017 Heretic (this intricate Touriga, Graciano, Shiraz blend brings together the components for a wine integrated better than any could stand by itself – light and lively but fully rounded and completely balanced wine!), the 2016 Bosworth Shiraz (a complete package deep dark Shiraz; dark fruit and mysterious spice; the undercurrents look subtle from above, but they are powerful), and the 2010 Cab Sav (an epic, heavenly perfect cab sav. Bright as it could be with hints of rasberry cordial and none of the green elements so common in AUS cabs). The 2016 Cab Sav is still a smidge tight at the moment but should mature into similar over the next couple years,
