Summary:
Two Hands was founded in 1999, but it tastes like they’ve been at it for centuries with their collection of elegant Shirazes (which constitute over half of their wines one offer – here’s to focusing on what you’re good at!) If you think “Barossa” is a synonym for “Shiraz”, you’ve come to the right place. This is a Shiraz house! You will be surprised how many unique taste profiles they can deliver with their 15+ shirazes. And even around the $30 range, the Shirazes are epic. And did we mention Rose? They only have one, but it’s not to be missed.
Built into a 19th century stone cottage and bakehouse, Two Hands’ cellar door is beautiful! While the outside may be a charming piece of museum-worthy history, the inside is polish and pizazz. Bottles of wine seem to float from the walls. Polished wood and backlit panels reflect light all about. It’s a pretty fancy place to be. And all this fanciness is balanced with a staff that could not be more welcoming. And then, of course, there is the glorious tasting deck. Nothing beats tasting some amazing Shiraz here on a sunny day with the vineyard floating below in the distance. It would be impossible not to have a great experience here.
