Sieber offers one of the best overall wine experiences we’ve enjoyed in the Barossa – amazing wines, winning personalities, a beautiful setting (the owner’s home), and value seldom seen any more. If you’re lucky, proprietress Val Sieber will do the tasting herself. Her generosity is matched only by her wicked wit and seemingly bottomless well of energy – a riot in heels! But of course, it’s the wines we’re after in the end, and Sieber delivers in spades. We just couldn’t get enough of their 2019 Shiraz Grenache (80/20) – a dark, earnest wine with just the right amount of tannin structure. Attractive spiciness comforts like a black forest hearth on a cold winter’s eve. The wine also boasts great length – its attractive flavours lingering long after the sip has gone. All that for $20? Yes please. Go to Sieber for a wonderful experience. Go to Sieber for amazing wine. Just go to Sieber 🙂
