Summary:
Nestled between gardens and fountains on one side, and rolling vineyards and piercing blue sky on the other, Grant Burge is beautiful. Inside what we can best describe as somewhere between a French Chateau and a castle, you’ll find an elegantly appointed tasting room. If you want the top-notch refined winery experience (not too flashy, and definitely not antique, but sophisticatedly on point), Grant Burge is a top pick.
Although founded only in 1988, Grant Burge has grown into one of Australia’s larger wineries. (In 2015, the family-owned operation was acquired by Accolade Wines.) As a giant winery that exports to all markets, much of GB’s range can just be characterised as “sufficient”. At their best, though, Grant Burge still produces a few exceptional bottles.
