Bowen Estate is just the kind of place that got Wine Hunters started. An unpretentious family-owned winery focusing on just three varietals and wine quality rather than fanfare. You’ll probably never see these guys in Vogue magazine, but their wines are in a class all of their own. Producing only three varietals pays fat dividends for Bowen. They are all heavenly. A polished Chardonnay, an archetype Coonawarra Cab Sav and perhaps the best Shiraz in the region (which is no small thing; Coonawarra is cranking out some epic Shiraz these days!)
